Lessons from Global Leadership in CMC, Technology Transfer, and Manufacturing
Tom Gervais
Vice President, Manufacturing, Rockville, MD

Abstract
Developing and establishing robust processes, analytical methods, and supply chains for the manufacture of biologics requires clarity, coordination, and commitment. Alignment and integration can be challenging if inherent assumptions and communication norms are not readily apparent to all individuals working on a given project. This presentation explores some of the dynamics and interactions amongst teams, systems, cultures, and technologies that influence CMC, technology transfer, and manufacturing. Considerations for emerging technologies and communication tools will also be discussed.
